Win for Vivendi Investors in Court of Appeals

The United States Court of Appeals recently upheld a nearly $50 million jury verdict in favor of a class of investors in Vivendi Universal, S.A., who, the Court held, was properly found liable for “disseminating a network of interrelated lies” to defraud investors. The opinion can be found here.
