About us: MoloLamken is one of America’s leading litigation boutiques. We represent clients from around the world in complex disputes before juries, judges, arbitral forums, and appellate courts, including the Supreme Court of the United States.

We are passionate about our work and take training the next generation of courtroom advocates seriously, which is why we founded the academy.
About the Academy: The MoloLamken Advocacy Academy is a unique program that gives top law school students from across the country an opportunity to develop practical courtroom skills. Working with leading trial and appellate advocates, 12 carefully selected MoloLamken Scholars will develop real-world skills over an intensive week-long course.
Scholars will examine and cross-examine witnesses, present trial and appellate court arguments, and learn strategies to succeed in the courtroom. Each Scholar will receive personalized tips and feedback to help them take their advocacy to the next level.
The week will also provide opportunities for Scholars to socialize with one another and their instructors.
Instructors: Our faculty will be led by our partners—including Steven Molo and Jeffrey Lamken—who collectively have tried hundreds of cases, argued hundreds of appeals, and are engaged in some of the most important litigation in the country today.
Who should apply: Students entering their final year of law school in the fall of 2024 may apply. The Academy’s schedule is designed to accommodate students participating in law firm summer associate programs and government or public interest internships. Scholars should be able to do both.
Where and when: Instruction will take place at the CORE: Club in New York City. The program begins on the evening of Sunday, August 11, and runs through the early afternoon of Friday, August 16, 2024.
Benefits: Scholars will receive a $4,500 cash award. For Scholars coming from outside of New York City, travel and lodging will be provided.
Application deadline: February 7, 2024. The selection process to become a MoloLamken Scholar is competitive. Students are encouraged to apply early.
