ML wins Supreme Court ruling upholding California animal-welfare law

In a victory for our client, the Supreme Court has upheld a California ballot initiative that bans the sale of pork derived from pigs raised in cruel conditions of confinement. In National Pork Producers’ Council v. Ross, ML briefed and argued on behalf of The Humane Society of the United States, who sponsored California's ballot initiative and intervened to defend the law.
