$440 million patent infringement win against Apple

The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit affirmed a $440 million judgment in favor of our client, VirnetX Inc., against Apple Inc., in connection with Apple’s infringement of VirnetX patents for secure communications over the Internet.  The Court rejected Apple’s arguments that there was insufficient evidence of infringement, that the damages award was based on unreliable evidence, and that the district court made other errors in its evidentiary and damages rulings.  The Court affirmed without an opinion.
