ML secures major win for investors in B of A Countrywide settlement dispute

The firm won a major victory for hedge fund clients Tilden Park and Prosiris in a dispute over the allocation of the $8.5 billion settlement of investor claims against Bank of America and Countrywide.  The New York Supreme Court held that our clients' close reading and strict interpretation of the contracts entitled them to $500 million more than the opposing parties would have allocated to them.  Read the decision here.  Read more about the case here.
